Quartz flooring also still has it’s basis in epoxy but with this option a broadcast medium is again used to create depth, color and texture to give you a more decorative appearance. Quartz can best be described as tiny particles of sand (quartz) which are 
ceramic coated in a variety of colors and then heat treated for optimal strength. Quartz is applied similar to the flake floors and then top coated with your choice of top coat (usually urethane) for a floor coating with color and depth and the most advanced level of strength, longevity and durability.
Quartz finishes are available in a wide array of colors created by mixing any combination of available colors.
