All of our coatings have an optional aluminum oxide additive to prevent slips, trips and fall. This additive is a colorless aggregate that is broadcast evenly over the floor to provide a slip resistant finish.
(Note: we have included a "blown up" version of the quartz flooring on the following samples)
Quartz finishes are available in a wide array of colors
created by mixing any combination of available colors. The photo on the
right is a combination of Black, White, Brown, Tan and Oxide. ___________________________________________________ When all is said and done, you want to make sure you have
gotten the best possible coating for your needs. If your newly coated
floor will be in the direct sunlight you may want to consider a polyurea
or urethane top coat for a small upcharge.
Notice the difference in the right and left side?
Would you put on SPF 2 sunblock to spend a day in the scorching sun? Of course not, so why would you take that risk with your epoxy coating? That's the difference between epoxy and polyurea, SPF 2 versus SPF 99! Thats what polyurea and urethane do to protect your floor, they add UV protection AND an added layer of strength and thickness but because their chemical composition is superior to epoxy they also add a higher level of scratch resistance. Choosing the polyurea or urethane top coat is a smart choice. __________________________________________ This next sample
is the most supreme system we offer.
